Magnifico is a singer, songwriter and actor from Slovenia. His real name is Robert Pesut. After abandoning his studies, he founded his first band U Redu in 1988 and recorded two albums with them. After the band broke up, he began his solo career in 1997. Read here more about Magnifico.

Romaneno Project is the name of the band of blind Bulgarian Roma singer and accordionist Neno Iliev. The band were formed by him in 2010 and brought out their first CD “Taj Mahal” in 2013. Roma music is skilfully mixed with elements of jazz on the CD.
Saban Bajramovic (1936-2008) was a Roma singer from the city of Nis in Serbia. He was already a legend when alive and is often referred to as the King of Roma Music. Saban Bajramovic went to school for only five years. He spent the rest of his childhood and adolescence on the streets of Nis and there learned to sing and make music. Selim Sesler was a Turkish clarinetist and zurna player from Kesan in the northwestern province of Edirne, which belongs to the region of Thrace. The city is ca. 250 kilometers from Istanbul and is close to the Greek border. Selim Sesler was a Roma born in 1957.
